Packaging is any product used to contain, protect, move, handle, deliver and present goods from the producer to the consumer including all disposable articles used for the same purposes except where the article is an integral part of a product, it is necessary to contain, support or preserve this product throughout its life and all elements are intended to be used, consumed or disposed of together.
       The packaging included in the scope of activity of the Electrão is classified according to its use and the type of material constituting it according to the following:

Since January 2018 packaging marking is no longer mandatory, but you can still use the Electrão Marking symbol.

Electrical equipment placed on the national market must be marked with the symbol indicating the selective collection and consisting of a crossed-out waste bin.
